Despite being down with strep all long-weekend-long (that's because I had a 4 day weekend so it was extra-long and extra miserable!) I managed to finish another dress for Lucy. You may remember my adventures with the sewing machines from such posts as this one,
8 Reasons Why I'm Terrified of My New Sewing Machine. So, this one, I actually sewed by hand. It would have been hard to push the pedal laying in my bed coughing any way. I think I am still going to add some rhinestones but other than that, it's finished. It's really thin material so it should be great for summer and Lucy--like most little girls--loves Tinkerbell. I have enough material left over to make two or three more, depending upon size, so I am considering listing it on Etsy. Question--is it a deterrent to buyers knowing it was hand-sewn or does that make it even more special? I am thinking about a $15 price point once I add some bling to Tink's fairy wings. I would love to hear your feedback!
